Knee surgery last Friday went well. I'm walking around fine and have gotten off crutches and am only using a cane. The doctors actually said I could have left the hospital without crutches and that I could put as much weight on the knee as I felt comfortable with. I took the crutches and used them mainly to help myself up from chairs and to keep balance.
I have a large Rx for pain pills, but fortunately haven't needed to take many. This is a major difference from when I had my ACL repaired 7-8 years ago...
Fun fact from surgery---I was in Pre-Op with Smokin' Joe Frazier.
