Today was a good day. I woke up early and ended up going to the Temple basketball game. It was a good game and they won (68-52). While there, I thought I spotted Mike Noll, and after trying to call his cell phone (which he didn't answer), I went to investigate. Sure enough, it was Mike, with another alum, Jason Moskal. They were in the President's Box (lucky bastards) so we talked with them for a little, then went back to watching the game.
After the game, we went to go see Glory Road. Overall it was a good movie, though these topics has been done many times before (i.e., Remember the Titans, Hoosiers, etc). The climax of the movie was a bit weird and it went a little too far. I don't know how much of the movie was factual, but some things didn't seem believable. But not a bad movie overall.
After the movie, on the way to getting groceries at BJ's, the 'incident' happened (since this was a great thing, it will get it's own post after this one is finished). But finally we made it to BJ's and got some food.
After hitting up the bar for food (if you have to ask which bar, then too bad--pretty much the only one I've been going to for the last few months), I watched the New England-Denver game. It was pathetic. I haven't seen New England play this bad in several years. Alas, I think their run is up.
Overall, a great day.
